Disney is such a big part of our world, especially as a kid. It is as if, the movies are a medium of passing down the fairytales through generations. I don’t think anyone or any adult would say that Disney is overrated because most adults grew up as a Disney fan.
The iconic characters like Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, etc. they are so popular that even after making various versions in the movies, people still wanna see more and more.
But, what if we place these characters in a new environment, say the society that we live in today? Lose the big gowns and the castles and resort to something contemporary and relatable. To make this image come to life, artist Fernanda Suarez from Santiago, Chile drew beautiful illustrations. And they are worth drooling over.
1. Esmeralda, the gypsy girl from ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.
You can see her rocking the boho vibe quite well.
2. Princess Aurora from ‘Sleeping Beauty’.
Those amazing blue eyes kinda make you sleepy.
3. Princess Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’.
You can see the liveliness in her cheeks.
4. Evil Queen, the stepmother in ‘Snow White’.
She is nailing the classy smoky look.
