The world of Ministry of Magic written and created by J.K Rowling with millions of fans following around the word is such an epic pop culture of our modern age. The story of the incredible orphaned boy who learned he is a wizard on his 11th birthday will always remain very special in the hearts of the muggles.
When the movie came out, it totally hit the industry with a big wave of success. Having said that, if you’ve read the books carefully you’d notice that some of the characters in the movie look different than their original characters in the books. Well, changes in appearance can happen often when a novel is depicted in a movie. This can come from all kinds of reasons.
Here are some of the differences that you might haven’t known or noticed.
1. Dolores Umbridge.
According to the books, Dolores is said to have a frog-like facial structure with huge round eyes and a broad jaw. And they also missed a small black bow clip on her hair-do.
2. Bill Weasley.
His character has a face with many scars he got from fighting with the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, although in the movie they smoothen out his face mostly.
3. Albus Dumbledore.
After Richard Harris, the actor who played the professor in the first two films passed away, actor Michael Gambon carried on with the role for the next 6 films. But they missed the blue eyes and the half-glasses.
4. Rufus Scrimgeour.
In the books, the character has a lion-like look, with the ginger hair turning grey over time. But they missed that and also his wire-rimmed glasses.
